Women's Healing Retreat

Tuition Investment $3,695
Nestled in a tranquil setting on Cortes Island is Hollyhock, a place of retreat for those who desire an intimate healing experience in community away from the demands and expectations of a busy or sedentary life schedule. Hollyhock is situated on the traditional and unceded territories of the Klahoose, Tla’amin, and Homalco Nations, 100 miles north of Vancouver, British Columbia.
Our 5-day Healing Retreat at Hollyhock rests on sunny, southeastern beaches bathed by the Salish sea. Our intention is to cultivate a nurturing space for women seeking healing and personal growth from life challenges that can often impede commitments to an authentic self-care. Life challenges may include post-traumatic stress, depression, anxiety, codependency, depression, trauma, grief/loss, and life transitions. Our Healing Circle is women-centered and trauma informed. Our approach to healing is through felt wisdom; a body-centered, soul-based a journey to balance and wholeness.
When women gather to connect and still our minds to reflect, may our hearts reveal what is true, guiding us in what to do. When we speak, may our truth shine as we feel our hearts align, and our rhythms move as one as we trust what has begun. When we leave this sacred space, may we live the truth we face, strengthened by each woman's heart and the wisdom they impart.

Balance and Wholeness Through Felt Wisdom
How often do you check in with your body, tune into what you need, and what you can do for yourself from a place of self-compassion? We all long to be loved, seen, heard, and understood,. We heal when we feel safe and connected to our bodies, our breath and in the present moment. When we feel connected to ourselves and to others, can we be open to our vulnerability and emotions to discover and express what is true to us. This expression through felt wisdom is what heals.
Wisdom of the women who speak from the truth of their experience informed our circle. Collective wisdom of women supports and inspires you to trust what you know in your heart is true with confidence and hope. During our 5-day healing retreat, you will cultivate a personal intention in the community of women as a collective witness. You arrive here alone and reemerge with a renewed sense of self-elevation with purpose and direction forward

A Balance of Community and Solitude
* The Magic of Awe and Wonder *
The magic, awe, and wonder of Hollyhock offers a balance of community and solitude. Food from garden to plate nourishes the soul. A special ingredient added is the love and intention put into the food by the chef and cooks. Flowers adorn the dining hall, the rooms, the gathering spaces, and the edible flowers that adorn the salads and foods. The Ocean provides soothing sounds of waves to encourage mindful presence. Food, flowers, and ocean all support the intention of gathering in community to share stories, develop new friendships, and harness the power of the common ties that connects us together as humans. At times when solitude is needed, there is space and place to take solace in solitude. The deep stillness of the meditation Sanctuary replenishes one’s own stillness and allows you to dive deep into self and the mystery of life and to emerge from the stillness ready to embrace the contradictions and fullness of life.
Our spiritual connection with nature reveal truths that withstand the test of time!
