LEARNING OBJECTIVES:
Understand anatomy and physiology of breathing, the pressure points and clinical applications.
Explain the rational for Somatic Armouring and the 7 segments of tension held in the physical body as defined by Wilhelm Reich
Describe core practice components in an Integrative Somatic Breathwork and trauma release
Identify areas of charge of distribution in the body during emotional states. Facilitate expansion and discharge of trauma response
Apply bodywork and Thai Yoga massage techniques to facilitate De-Armouring processes for the 7 segments
Conduct a body assessment and apply techniques for De-Armouring
40 hrs. of documented practice sessions, 7 supervision sessions.
